I'm so excited to present Tristan Risk in this mini ''Boo Tube' interview for MoreHorror.com (watch the mini interview below the details).
We discuss burlesque, future projects and of course her (shoulda won an Oscar) performance in the instant cult classic American Mary (review).
Tristan blew me away with her outstanding role as Beatress Johnson, a Betty Boop look-a-like, in American Mary but she really stole my heart when Twisted Twins, Jen and Sylvia Soska introduced me to this ball of talent at a party the night before we filmed this little video. From the second you meet her you just want to squeeze her she's so cute!
Just before we started filming I asked Tristan if she could talk like Beatress the entire interview. Not only did she jump right into character but she was excited to do so, as if I didn't love her enough already. I just want to put her on my computer and stare at her all day!
If you haven't seen it yet, American Mary is now available on DVD and Netflix, it's one of my favourite horror films from 2012.
